How to plan your visit to the Arab Baths of Córdoba

Booking, opening hours, what to bring, when to come and how to fit the baths into your visit to the city. The practical part, no fluff.

Book in advance

Especially if you are coming at the weekend or between March and June. Córdoba receives a lot of tourism in spring and autumn, and the 30 and 60-minute massages sell out easily. An online booking secures your time. If you only want the bath without a massage, there is more availability, but it is still better not to leave it to the last minute.

The best time to come

If you prefer peace and quiet, weekday mornings (10:00-13:00) tend to be the calmest. Friday and Saturday evenings are the busiest. In summer, the last hours (21:00-00:00) are perfect: the heat has dropped and the baths are at their most serene.

How long the experience lasts

Two hours of full access. If you have booked a massage, it takes place within that time. You do not need more than that to go through the four pools, the steam and the tea. But there is no need to rush either.

What to bring

Just a swimsuit. We provide towels, footwear, a locker, shower gel, shampoo and a hairdryer. If you do not bring a swimsuit, you can buy one at reception.

How to fit it into your visit to Córdoba

If you have one day: the Mosque in the morning, a walk through the Jewish Quarter, Arab baths in the mid-afternoon, dinner in the neighbourhood. It is the most complete plan we know.

If you have a weekend: add the Alcázar, Medina Azahara and a night at our guesthouse. Sleeping above the baths with access until midnight changes the experience completely.

If you come as a couple: book a 30-minute massage each — we will give them to you at the same time. Afterwards, the flotation pool together. Then, dinner at one of the Jewish Quarter restaurants thirty metres from our door.

Where we are

Calle Almanzor 18, in the Jewish Quarter. 3 minutes from the Mosque, 2 from the Synagogue, 1 from the Puerta de Almodóvar. If you arrive by AVE, the station is a 15-minute walk. If you come by car, the nearest car parks are La Mezquita (4 min) and Alcázar Viejo (6 min).
